Priorities for Milwaukee County District 9

Taxpayers deserve a county government that respects every dollar. As Treasurer on the Franklin School Board, I’ve made it my job to balance the books responsibly while protecting the future of our schools. When a 12% levy increase was on the table, I voted no. When health insurance costs threatened to grow, I pushed for a self-insured plan that saved the district over $1 million in just three years. And when a 13.2% levy hike was proposed, I brought forward an amendment that cut it to 5%.

Because of these kinds of decisions, our district’s credit rating climbed to AA1, one of the best in Wisconsin, which meant lower interest rates and nearly $18 million in savings. That’s money redirected away from banks and back into classrooms where it belongs.

As your County Supervisor, I’ll take that same mindset to Milwaukee County: careful with spending, creative in finding savings, and focused on results that make life better for families in District 9.

Responsible Use of Tax Dollars

District 9 gives more than our fair share in taxes, yet too often we don’t see those dollars invested back into our own community. Take the Hales Corners pool. A resource that families have counted on for years, which remains closed when it should be cared for and open. We can do better.

Our parks, pools, and roads are part of what make our community special, but they only stay strong if we take care of them. In Franklin, I supported forward-looking planning that invested in schools and public spaces while protecting taxpayers. I believe the county should approach its amenities in the same way.

As your County Supervisor, I will support needed repairs and improvements to county roads so drivers can get where they need to go safely. I will push for ongoing maintenance of county parks so they remain safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone. These are practical investments that protect property values, improve quality of life, and bring people together.

Strong Parks, Roads, and Community Spaces

Nothing matters more to families than feeling safe at home and in the community. On the School Board, I supported hiring a second school resource officer to improve both safety and trust between students and police. I believe safety requires both accountability for crime and a strong partnership between law enforcement and the people they serve.

As your County Supervisor, I will support providing law enforcement with the tools and training they need to do their jobs effectively. I will also encourage better communication between county officials, police, and residents so that we are solving problems together. My goal is simple: safe neighborhoods where families can thrive and where trust in public safety is strong.

Safe Neighborhoods for Every Family

Your Voice Keeps

Milwaukee County Strong

I believe strong communities are built when leaders listen and neighbors work together. Whether it’s maintaining safe streets, improving our parks, or keeping taxes in check, the best ideas come from the people who live here. I want to hear from you. What issues matter most to your family, and how can county government better serve District 9?
